From short to feature, from series to documentary<\/span><\/h3>

Cl\u00e9mentine Charuel wrote the music for many films including the feature \"Cherry\" by Sophie Galibert (Nominated for U2C Music Young Talent Award in 2025), the short film \"Icarus\" by Christos Kardana, and the documentary \"Des Femmes Une Voix\" by Stan Zambeaux. \n\nHer style at the crossroads of classical and experimental music allows her to explore rich and varied soundscapes that enhance emotion and storytelling. As part of the music team of more than thirty major films, Cl\u00e9mentine has a deep knowledge of every role in the making of film music. Cherry<\/em> <\/strong>(r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Sophie Galibert, prim\u00e9 \u00e0 Tribeca en 2022 et musique nomm\u00e9e en 2025 aux Prix U2C), le court m\u00e9trage Icarus<\/i><\/b> (directed by Christos Kardana, 2025), or the documentary Des Femmes, Une Voix <\/i><\/b>(r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Stan Zambeaux, 2025).<\/p>

A vocation<\/span><\/h3>
<\/div>

Film music seemed obvious when Cl\u00e9mentine put in common the things that mattered the most: as a cinema lover and a music artist she always associated pictures, stories or even dreams to music she was hearing, playing or writing. Today she really enjoy translating cinematic expression into music expression, interpreting the directors' emotions in her own language and put this music at the service of the movie. While her first steps in music composition were very focused on orchestral music, now she likes mixing it with electronic instruments and with vocal textures. Her trips in different musical spheres (classical, rock, modern music) made her wish to always improve herself and experiment new ways of thinking and writing music.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n <\/section>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Training<\/span><\/h3>
<\/div>

Cl\u00e9mentine's musical training started when she was 7 as she was interested in playing the piano. While taking courses at the conservatory she wanted to discover music from every angle: she gained new writing styles by playing in rock bands and in chamber choirs, as well as the wish of developing unusual textures. Since she graduated from the Master of Musicology at Paris-Sorbonne (2017) and from the Master of Scoring for Films, Television and Video Games at Berklee College of Music (2018), she has been writing music for many media projects and never gets tired of exploring her creativity through different styles and genres of cinema and music.<\/p>

Cl\u00e9mentine was selected by many workshops organised by cinema and music organisations in France and in the all world.<\/p>
